Watch Streaming Movies/TV

So many choices…so little time!

Ok…you want to watch some films or TV. We understand! Otherwise, why else (besides Live Sports) would you have invested in your Mini Media Center? The following add-ons should be all that you need to watch the latest in streaming movies and TV. You can also download movies from the Pulsar add-on configured to use a USB flash or hard drive plugged into your MMC.

Genesis: Genesis is definitely one of the best Kodi add-ons in 2015. I have found the Genesis add-on to be very reliable at getting just about anything I can think of.  Now, that doesn’t mean I don’t come across bad links (as you would in almost any Kodi video streaming add-on), but I have minimal bad links with Genesis and have yet to find a show that I can’t watch using it. Many sources are used for the video content and playback is shown in a style not too dissimilar to Netflix.

1 Channel/Primewire: One of the most reliable sources for new movies and TV shows with the list being updated on a regular basis. This add-on has been around forever making it a firm favorite among Kodi users.

Icefilms: An add-on for all of the film buffs out there, Icefilms uses direct download to serve up movies straight to your Kodi machine. Over 70,000 films exist on the Icefilms website, this provides the content for the add-on. Icefilms also includes music concerts and stand-up comedy. The content is streamed directly from Icefilms website and does not require downloading.

There are a couple of ways to access the above add-ons. One way is to choose your add-on from the shortcuts on your home screen. As you can see below you can use the shortcuts below the main menu to choose either. You can reorder these is you like (but that’s for another day).

OR…you can choose Videos>Add-ons from the main menu to get the the following screen(s).

Here is a great video guide to using Genesis from my friends at XBMHub (no point in re-inventing the wheel).

Here is a another video guide to using 1Channel – again, from XBMHub.
