I am CT Miller your “head (and only) geek”. Currently I reside on the Gulf Coast of Florida, and am a former resident of Ohio.

I am a self-taught “geek” with over 30 years experience with computers and computer systems. In fact, I started with computersbefore there was such a thing as “Windows”. CP/M, OS/2, PC-DOS, MS-DOS; these are a few of the operating systems that I used in the past that were precursors to Microsoft’s most famous product.
I moved to Windows full-time when version 3.0 was released (way back in 1990) and enough applications followed that made it usable in a work environment. As there was very little training available at that time, I found myself “breaking” the system often. The result of these excursions into the unknown was that in order to fix what I had done, I had to learn about the operating system and its underpinnings.
Becoming more and more proficient at fixing systems, I became the “resident geek” for friends, family and even acquaintances. I gladly provided this service free of charge as it allowed me to increase my knowledge base of problems and their fixes. With each subsequent edition of Windows, I made sure to upgrade so I could continue to problem solve for these groups.
